Bodie McCoy, 76, peacefully passed away on September 27, 2025
Bodie McCoy was an Entrepreneur/Inventor, Author, Spiritual Counselor, Life Coach & a loving husband and father.
He grew up surfing the waves of Southern California’s coastline and was enthusiastically engaged in the 60’s. Sure that LSD was the path to enlightenment he began to ride the limited drug induced waves of consciousness. Eventually, the drugs caused a wipe-out. Thus began his true spiritual quest; learning to surf the waves of life.
He began learning about Yoga, the Chakras, the IChing, Kabbalah and the Tree of Life. Numerology, Sacred Geometry, the Melchizedek Priesthood and the Ancient Maya’s also contributed richly. As a result he saw an entire teaching within The Lord’s Prayer that was connected to all of them. What he honed from all of these and his inner guidance led to the development of Oracle of the Heart; A mystical mirror or blueprint of human consciousness. A whole and complete system of understanding one’s own consciousness.

Barbara McCoy
Barbara McCoy would say first and foremost that she was blessed to be Bodie’s wife and the mother of 8 amazing individuals. And in her spare time (LOL) she has been a business manager, editor, web designer, & a Life Coach.
She grew up in Sonora CA in the Sierra Nevada Mountains of California, engulfed by nature’s bounty. Barbara was enthusiastic about the 60’s and its “Make Love not War” motto. She grew up dancing, loving performing, teaching dance and attending church. Eventually, a spiritual experience helped her see the connection to these. That is to say, the heart felt joy she felt dancing was the same joy she experienced reciting the Lord’s Prayer. Consequently she realized that her whole life was about learning to dance to the sacred rhythms of life.
Together:
For many years Bodie and Barbara coached sharing their work with Oracle of the Heart while parenting their 8 children. Barbara continues to share their work, but now also enjoying their 18 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Together they had a very unique creative partnership. Each of their talents supported and enriched the other. And yet neither looked to the other for fulfillment. In other words, they realized that it was up to each of them to accept responsibility for their own happiness. Oracle of the Heart was instrumental in helping them live this truth. And the results are evident to all who know them.
In conclusion their prayer is that the tools they offer may help illuminate your personally unique life path!
