Tips to Love Yourself and Your Life

Love Yourself and Your Life

You are Love.

Tips to Love Yourself and Your Life:

By loving ourselves we can heal ourselves, each other, and the world. Our purpose is to learn to love yourself and that begins with, and within, each of us. To “Love Yourself and Your Life” is an ongoing moment-to-moment process. We live in a polarized reality where both negative and positive influences are always in motion. To create balance in our lives it is imperative to give ourselves permission to spend time every day to focus on our positive aspects and to weave gratitude into every experience of life.

It is not you who needs to change, simply your perception of you. You are already perfect and worthy of all you desire. Experience the magnificence of your soul. It is the real you!

Below are tips to love yourself and your life. These are just suggestions to help you discover your true essence by enfolding yourself in your own loving. Explore them, and perhaps then make up some ways of your own. It all begins with you.

  • Begin and end your day with love.

Each morning before getting out of bed say to yourself, “See Yourself Loving”. Breathe in love and breathe out love. Surround yourself in light. Feel yourself being bathed in love. Love yourself enough to believe in the limitless opportunities available to you. Repeat this when you go to bed at night as well.

  • Take time to meditate and journal.

Spend time focusing inward daily. Begin with 10 minutes of meditation and five minutes of journaling each morning. You may want to create and decorate your own gratitude journal.

  • Use Positive self-talk.

Affirmations help re-train our mind to support and encourage us to be more of who we truly are. Create affirmations that are the opposite of the negative self-talk you have experienced running in your head. For example: If you have bought into that you are not worthy of being rich and abundant you might say to yourself; I am rich! Or, I am wealthy in every way. I create abundance for myself with ease and grace…. Be a conscious programmer for your amazing self.

  • Be honest and courageous.

We often develop negative habits to avoid feeling our powerful emotions. We eat, drink and drug ourselves into numbness to block our feelings. Courageously & honestly being mindful to breathe through your feelings is extremely liberating. You are not your emotions. They are only an aspect of you that are meant to be a guide for us to create better and better experiences for ourselves; not to hold us back. You have a right to an awesome life.

  • Try something new; have some fun!

Find some form of exercise you like. Try some new healthy foods that are good for you. Turn off technology for a day and spend time doing things that make you feel alive. Walk barefoot on Mother Earth. Take time to listen to your favorite music. Dance! Engage with life.

  • Surrender to Your Souls Loving Guidance.

None of us ever see the whole picture. Therefore, we don’t really know why anything happens. However, if we stop fighting against ourselves by thinking that the people and events in our life should be different and choose to simply let-go, we pave the way to align with our soul’s purpose, rather than getting stuck in what we ‘think’ should be happening.

  • Be patient with yourself.

Let go of drama, frustrations and fear. Trust in yourself, do what works, and enjoy the results.

  • Learn to trust your inner quiet voice.

All answers come from within. Look for signs and pay attention to your gut feelings. You’ll hear two inner voices when you need to make a decision. The quiet voice is your higher self; the loud voice is your ego. Always go with the quieter voice.

  • Do what honors you.

Don’t participate in activities that bring you down. Don’t allow toxic people in your life. Love everyone, but be discerning who you choose to spend time with.

  • Traveling to Now.

Consciously focus your attention on the present moment to fully experience the beauty life has to offer. Suffering comes from living in the pain of the past or the fear of the future. Traveling to now is a journey of choosing the freedom to be yourself right here right now.

  • Be Yourself.

Speak up and speak out. Allow yourself to be seen, known, and heard. Get comfortable with intimacy (in-to-me-see). Remember that saying, “What they think of me is none of my business.” The only thing that is important is what you think of yourself. You are the only one responsible for your happiness, and how you experience everything and everyone in your life.

  • Most Importantly; Forgive yourself.

Intend to learn from your mistakes and go forward. Use this affirmation, “I forgive myself for judging myself for __________ (fill in the blank with whatever pops into your head. i.e.: for getting sick, for acting out, for not doing my best, for putting myself down).

  • Dedicate your life to loving yourself. Make it your primary goal and watch the magic begin to unfold in your life. Make your life moto be “See Yourself Loving.

To love yourself and love your life you first need to ask yourself what do you want. Then use your creative imagination to envision what your life would look like. Believe in yourself! Be bold, give yourself permission to truly go for it. You’re worth it!
